VHS, restaurated version, 45 min
directed by Nathalie Alonso Casale
At age 13, I was so incredibly bored with school, that the religion teacher agreed to let me shoot a film instead of attending his classes. So I wrote a script and with the school’s VHS camera and the help of some schoolmates, I started shooting. Not just during religion classes, but also in the weekends. I took the title from a desperate poem I had written about an unjust world in which God was always absent.
